1. An MPL rookie will win the MPL BOWL IX

Wade - Fiction I think the rookies will choke come playoff time and not get far in the playoffs. Im still choking in the playoffs and I'm a 2 year vet. I think owners like Sully, King Pac and Readywhenever are too good for a rookie come into the MPL playoffs and walk away with the Superbowl.

Raider88dc - There are exciting and good new players to the MPL. Some rookies are at the top of their division. Ready and there are others like Maddensinceday1 who are very good madden players.

2. IareEthan's 4-1 Steelers will beat Sully's 5-0 Ravens in week 6
Wade - Fiction:
If you would of asked this before the Steelers played the Cards, I would have went with the Steelers winning. But that Cards loss really gives me thought how good he actually is. I think Sully's defense is too good for Ethan to outscore him like he has done to the 3 games Ethan has won. Sully is too good in close games and I just dont know if Ethan can handle a tight one. Should be a great one!

Raider88dc - Both teams have unbeatable defenses even without the smart A.I. It will be a close game but in the end I think the team that has the best playmaker will win. Sully's- Heap or Ethan's-Parker. I will go with Willie and a Steeler's win.

3. Fact or Fiction - Deadbeat owners are hurting the League
Wade - Fact!!! Especially the ones that dont post on boards and dont do gamerecaps with stats Grr!! Also the owners that dont post times there are avialable to play during the week until like Wednesdays. Makes it real hard to get games with them.

Raider88dc - Fiction- All the deadbeats are quiting or just dropping out, allowing for other people to come showcase thier skills; a good example is Maddensinceday1. This league is just filtering out the men from the boys.

4. Choosing not to play Madden 07 for the PS3 is hurting some owners in the MPL
Wade - FACT!! I dont think so. It's a learning process. The same would have happened to the MPL if we had switched to 07. Actually it would have been worse because most of the guys got their ps3 later.

Raider88dc - Fiction- Owners that are not playing Madden 07 because either they think the NG madden "sucks," or its "too hard," arent hurting anybody but themselves. Just because you're not that good or havent given the game a good and full thorough run through, doesnt seem as good reasons to just give up on it.

5. Madden 08 is a big disappointment
Wade - FACT!! Just play the game and you know why or read the forums lol.

Raider88dc - Fiction- It is a disappointment to some degree but it is MORE of an improvement from the previous Madden. I feel as this is the most realistic Madden to date, but there is still some kinks that need to be ironed out.

6. This sunday Dallas will beat New England
Wade - Fiction. I would like to see pats lose but i think the Pats are just way too good. If Dallas wins, I will be shocked and Cowboys will be the talk of the whole NFL.

Raider88dc - Hahaha...Fiction...as much as I hate to say this, New England should take this game. New England has to have one of the best teams formed out of AWESOME free agent acquisitions, and seemlessly no bodies turned into somebodies in recent memory. Dallas just has the name DALLAS COWBOYS (and eveything that come with it) on thier side. I predict 34-24 in favor of New England.
