Week 4

Welcome to my first segment of Fact or Fiction. There are a lot of things to discuss in the MPL world. This is the place where you can give your open and honest opinions about hot MPL topics. I wanna know what’s on your mind. I only have one rule…when I ask your opinion on a statement, be HONEST. Sit down with ya girl and let me know what you feel is fact or fiction!

1. Coach Run the Rock will repeat and win his 2nd MPL Bowl Championship with the Titans
Jim - Fiction. As good as Rock is...the Titans will just have too many holes for him to repeat. There are owners that are just as talented but have better overall teams
Prez - Fiction. I think that Josh has a good shot at getting back to the MPL Bowl, but with all the talent in the league I don't think he can repeat. The Titans are only a decent team, and I think they lack the talent to allow Rock to win another one.
2. At the end of week 3, the Raiders are the best team in the Atlantic Conference.
Jim - Fact. Ducati has fine tuned his game to the nuances of Madden 07 and the Raiders will get their pieces back when the rosters are reset
Prez - Fiction. Ducati is a very good madden player, but the Raiders aren't helping him. With all the Raiders injuries and their lack of a quarterback, it allows other teams to be above the Raiders.
3. The Eagles will give the Chargers their 1st loss in week 4.
Jim - Fact. Moneyball is just that, money...Pun will have to play his best defensive game of the season in order to win this one
Prez - Fact. I think Moneyball's offense will be too much for Blu to handle. I think the game will be a shootout that Blu can't keep up in. I'll be putting some money down on this one. HaHa.
4. Tampa Bay has the worst offense in the league
Jim - Fiction. The Texans haven’t scored a point this season, LOL
Prez - Fiction. I think that Tampa Bay's offense (not coach) is pretty bad. But I think Coach Tate will figure out how to utilize his team's strengths in the next few weeks to get a few victories.
5. Coach Sully will clinch his division with the Lions this season.
Jim - Fiction. Before today, I would’ve said yes. But NoFear won. He's got a few really tough games coming up.
Prez - Fiction. I think Sully really knew how to use the 49ers. Now he has the Lions who are a brand new team with different personnel. He is going to have to change his approach. Sully is a good madden player and can make the playoffs, but I don't think he will win the division.
Random Question:
6. Peyton Manning will be on the Madden 08 Cover
Jim - There hasn’t been a super bowl winner on the cover in recent memory. I’m hoping it'll be TO so he can get hurt LOL.
Prez - Fiction. I expect to see Tom Brady on next year cover. I don't remember the last time they got the MVP of the Super bowl on the cover. They usually pick someone who didn't make it all the way, but had a good season.
