Welcome members of MPL to week one fact of Fact or Fiction.

Well with season 10 started and it started with a bang!!! Yours truly took on the JMcGrathSince82’s Bucs with the 1st game of the season and he handed me my duker horse. And once unbeatable Readywhenever is on a TWO game losing streak. What’s this world coming to? But on the lighter side of things, week one is almost in the books with about 2 more games need to play. Rookies JMcGrath, TLocket, Trusion, Hawkins, Sportzfanatic, and Upsetcity, ALL WON their opening games in the MPL. Good job guys!!! Along with all these rookies winning, super bowl favorite Ethan and his Eagles are on a rolling start with his decisive victory over the G-men. Also coaches Readywhenever and JMcGrath both had some shake ups with there respective teams with Ready changing coaches and McGrath utilizing new players after the roster update that greatly helped the Bucs on both side of the ball.

With week one in mind lets begin with fact or fiction. This is a segment where you can be yourself and tell it like it is. Remember don’t hold back and that this is just some good clean fun. So get ready for FACT OR FICTION!!!

Please welcome to this weeks segment:

1.   Ready’s Rams will bounce back this week against a tough opponent in Sully and his 49ers.

Sully -  Fiction. My loss last week was not something that's going to be a regular occurrence.

Trusion -  *sigh* FICTION: I love Readywhenever to death, but I don't think anyone can really be all that confident with his play so far with the Rams. He was crazy with the cowboys last season (his team) but it seems that he's having a very difficult time adapting to that of St. Louis. Sully took a tough loss last week, but everyone really knows of his reputation with San Francisco. I believe he won it all with San Fran a few seasons back. Ready mentioned having a new game plan ready and new playbook, which could definitely help. Good luck to him with that. But as of right now, I'm gonna say that's not gonna happen.

TLocket21 -  Fact: Ready will have a tough opponent this week, but after going 12-0 last season and losing in the opener. I think Ready has really hit the practice field this week and will be focused for this game.

2.  Jim and dem’ Texans will win his division.

Sully -  Fact. The Texans are an underrated madden team and Jim is an underrated owner

Trusion -  FACT: He's been wowing me since the preseason with em. IMO the most underrated player in the MPL is Jim. I believe Houtz can give him a run for his money, but Jim already has a head on him since he won the 1st match up. That division will be interesting I do think. I don't know a whole lot about Underdog or OldnSloFly other than they had pretty down seasons last year

TLocket21 -  Fiction: Though the Texans have high hopes this year. I know whenever they step on the field with whomever they play. They will take the other teams best shot. The Texans will be lucky to be over .500 this season.

3.   Ethan and his big win catapult him to #1 in the power rankings.

Sully -  Fact. He’s already high on the rankings and I see no reason why it couldn't.

Trusion -  Uhmmm, I'm a little torn there. Ethan had a huge blowout win 41-7 against a guy who talked quite a bit of smack to him prior to the season. This was a pretty anticipated match...and..... well...it was pretty lopsided. But Wade on the other hand also handled business in an impressive 23-6 win over Tam's Bills. Tam is pretty d*** tough so I don't think anyone really saw that one coming. That wide of victory I mean. So I guess my answer would have to be FICTION. Wade will hold that top spot as long as he keeps holding down the fort

TLocket21 -  Fact: With the way he exploded in his 1st game over 300 yds of offense and very balanced in rush and pass. This kid has the makings of a superstar. And O don’t forget about his defense he completely shut down his opponent last wk. So right now he is looking like the total package.

4.   The biggest veteran loss to a rookie during week one was ME vs. JMcGrath and his Bucs.

Sully -  Fiction. I'd have to say my loss was the worst. I should be better then this with the team I’ve been using for so long

Trusion -  I'm gonna have to say FACT. I did not see the dominating performance by upsetcity over BigBoss coming, but this probably surprised me the most. That's the thing about rookies though. You never really know what all they bring to the table until that time comes. And with the 30th pick of the draft JMcGrath took the Bucs and is looking pretty hot with em. The game could have went either way IMO, but I didn't expect it to go his way by THAT margin. Kudos to him by the way. And you as well.

TLocket21 -  Fact: Bucs being a running team and losing to them by almost 2 touchdowns is very surprising. It seems someone got a little impatient and probably took themselves out of the game.

Random/Non MPL Questions

5.   Call of Duty 4 is the reason some owners *cough couch* are not doing so hot in season 10.

Sully -  Fact. The game is good but it's not THAT good people. Step it up!

Trusion -  lol - that's tough - you can make a case for some vets who really enjoy the game like BigBoss, Readywhenever, or you yourself that have come out flat to start the season. Maybe if they were to lay off the COD some and give madden a little more time, then things will start to turn around...quickly. So my answer is FACT.

TLocket21 -  : Fiction: No excuses, everyone came with there A game the first game of the season. Call of Duty 4 or the NFL playoffs or whatever someone's excuse may be is just that an EXCUSE.

6.   The AFC is the better conference.

Sully -  Fiction. The NFC is just more competitive.

Trusion -  FACT - Whenever there's a chance that the New York Giants can be representing the NFC in the super bowl.........that's just terrible - A lot of underachievers are in the NFC along with primetime disappointments - Chicago, Philly, New Orleans. Dallas going 13-3 for no reason. Just weak compared to the AFC. And plus they have Brady and Manning...go figure...

TLocket21 -  Fact: How can u deny it Pats 16-0, Indy, Chargers, Steelers, Jags all top-notch teams. And it will be proven in this year’s Super bowl.
